This plaster head of a statue is regarded as atypical example for the traditional sculptor for the facial features in Amarna period . It presents a lifelike version for the deceased with consummate skill that still astonish artists and sculptors till now . The face was usually portrayed with almond-shaped eyes , highly curved eyebrows , finely carved mouth and small and slender nose . This piece that is supposed to be a depiction of one of the court men at Amarna is regarded as a description of unique culture and art .
